2015 Volkswagen Golf Named Car of the Year®

As the 2015 Volkswagen Golf reaches its seventh generation, it steals headlines and, dare we say, hearts, as Motor Trend names it the Car of the Year® for 2015. Let's look back at the last 40 years to see how the Volkswagen Golf has evolved to become the Car of the Year®.

The 2015 Volkswagen Golf arrives at Volkswagen of Fort Myers more innovative than ever. Motor Trend Editor-in-Chief Ed Loh said "...there is truly a Golf for everyone." The 2015 model is available in three models, including a two-door and a four-door with an available TDI® Clean Diesel engine. The available 1.8T, engine with a 5-speed manual transmission gives drivers an EPA-estimated 25 mpg city and 37 mpg highway.

New available features include a Fender® Premium Audio System, a Panoramic Sunroof and available touchscreen navigation.
