I came in on a Saturday, my tire pressure was low and I could not find a place that had working air. The team squeezed me and aired up my tire, but not only did he air it up he checked it over and found a nail in it. He could have just aired it up and let me go. He then squeezed me in to put the new tire on my car and do an inspection on the car. all within an hour and a half. The girl at the desk was super kind an helpful too. I can't say enough good things about the whole team there.

I chose to give 5 stars as I had such ease when dealing with VW of Fort Myers. I purchased a 2022 MK8 GTI from this dealership in May of 2022 and started experiencing some issues in late 2022. I took it to my local VW dealership in Sarasota, FL (Sunset Volkswagen) and explained these issues and in response they told me they could not do anything and turned me away. When bringing it into VW of Fort Myers I was assisted by your employee Garret. Garret allowed to me to go through, in detail every issue I was experiencing with the car. Within 1 day I had multiple new parts, my car back in my possession with many resolved issues, and plenty of more parts on order ready to be replaced. I really enjoyed purchasing my car because there was little to no haggling, no “obligations”, Daunte was very upfront and didn’t try to play any games. The only thing that is on my receipt is the price of the car (not up charged), taxes, service fee, and that’s about it.

After Hurricane Ian, I contacted Gary Erickson, from whom I purchased my last two cars, a 2020 Passat and a 2021 ID.4. We live in Naples, but we do business with VW of Ft. Myers. Why you ask? Here's the list where you may understand why we drive 40-45 minutes from our home: 1) Steve in sales: 3 years ago, we leased a VW and Steve was no nonsense, straight forward to the point where he set up a no pressure meeting to drive the car. We reluctantly drove up, not sure what to expect, but glad we did! In no time, we did a test drive and within an hour, they gave us such a great price that we signed the papers on the spot. Please understand that we did our homework and shopped around everywhere, and Steve from VW of Ft. Myers truly blew the competition away. We also saved money on taxes, since Lee County taxes are less than Collier County taxes! 2) Josiah in sales: About a year ago, we called Steve again (in sales), but he was not in/tied up that day. But Josiah helped us out and we once again made the 40-45 minute drive to VW of Ft. Myers. We loved the 2021 and 1/2 VW Atlas, but they sold the last one! This was really at the peak of the car shortage (still going on), so we understood and continued to drive and love our VW we leased about 2 years prior. Then we called Steve and Josiah about six months ago, we drove up again and purchased another VW. No regrets whatsoever and love, love, love the car, not kidding! As we are now in the market for another car as our household grows, we called up Josiah again. He immediately gave me some numbers for us to digest, and we appreciated his fast service! Truly no games, no gimmicks and no nonsense. Very enjoyable experiences on every level. 3) Recently I experienced an issue with our VW and my husband asked me to call service to see if they might be able to figure it out over the phone. I spoke with Ray in service and he walked me through a series of things to try, and it worked! A few weeks later, the radio was acting "funky" again and since I had such I good experience with Ray, I called him again and he set us up for a service call. All set, all taken care of! All we can say is thank you to everyone who is SO helpful from the point of contact when you open the front door, to the sales manager pitching in, to the finance department really respecting our time after the sale, to the follow up for service. So if you have gotten this far in the review, you probably understand why we make the drive north to VW of Ft. Myers. All anyone wants is to be treated fairly and respectfully, and we continue to experience this every step of the way. May I say that we recently received a manufacturer's review / feedback, etc on our VW. It was the first time that we loved a car so much that we gave a perfect score. Again, not kidding!

I have been searching for a quality used car for my 16 year old daughter and it has not been an easy task. Gary was absolutly wonderful. Most dealerships seem to find a way to inflate that number. I was impressed with the whole culture there. Friendly people who actually seemed like they liked working there. Solidly good experience. Very low pressure. The employees actually genuinely seem happy to be working there. I was in Ft Meyers and had been eyeing a few Jettas, so I took a swing by before heading home to look at the Jetta's, test drove a Jetta, thought for sure that I would get a Jetta except that they didn't have the "one" that had exactly everything that was important to me. I told my guy, Michael I, that I was just going to head home and he could email me if the right Jetta popped up. My 3 year old 2014 Jetta was just out of warranty and had only 8,000 miles but I missed having it checked out before it went off warranty. My wife wanted it checked out before we went to St. Pete. I took it in to VW Ft. Myers for a safety check and to my surprise they did the safety check NO CHARGE! I also needed a diagnostic check due to a smell of gasoline on cold mornings but couldn't schedule that on the day of the safety check. That was also completed a week later NO CHARGE! Thank you so much VW Ft. Myers!

I just purchased a 2017 Passat SE. When checking other dealers in the SW Florida area, nobody could come close to the deals offered by these guys. Ask for Steve (the Greek guy). He is personable and professional. But the thing that really stood out to us was there was no felling of pressure to buy. He let the product speak for itself.

We had a good experience from start to finish. Price, the salesman, and Jeff, the finance guy, were both very accommodating. My daughter is very happy with her 2011 Jetta. I did get a 1 year warranty just to make sure there were no surprises.

I went to the dealership to look at new cars. I met Joe Weidenfeller the salesman. he took a lot of time to discuss my existing car and a possible replacement even after we made it very clear we were not buying that day.. After we left he provided 2 additional quotes, one of which we ended up purchasing.

We had a great experience. Our salesman, Steve, was very helpful and kind. He made us feel like we were his main priority. We did several test drives and Steve either answered our questions or got the answers. And he wasn't to proud to admit when he didn't have the answer. He was excellent as far as customer service. We did have contact with another employee/manager of the sales office. I prefer not to put a name - but the other person we dealt with seemed less kind and more about the bottom line. We were looking at several different cars at different dealers and we thought the True Value car app was going to save us money but when we arrived at VW they explained they take Sonic quotes. So the $22k car we thought we would get we ended up costing a lot more. The amount I intended to spend based on True Car disappeared. By the time we realized that we would be spending the same amount on the V4 Passat as we could on the V6 Honda Accord or V6 Camry it was too late. Don't get me wrong I love my new car. What disappointed me was the price. We went to VW thinking we were getting a deal. And even though I told them what I was willing to pay and what I was willing to finance and there was a $4k difference and by the time we walked out the door I didn't save the $4k because they just added it to the amount I wanted to finance. So basically the people are great but don't go there expecting to get the deal you researched online.

I left the car to have the ignition cylinder replaced - which was very sad in a new car with only 27,000 miles. Not your problem, but corporate should know. I was especially pleased with Gordon and Arthur and their expertise because after the cylinder was replaced and I drove away, my directional signals would not work! I went back immediately and told Gordon and he was able to work on the wires/connections and within 10 minutes, it was fixed. If not for him, I would have had to leave the car overnight again! In addition, instead of being frustrated with problem, Gordon and Arthur's caring and welcoming demeanor were SO gratifying. If I were their boss, I'd give them a bonus! Unfortunately, I am selling the car tomorrow due to the cylinder issue, the bacteria that creates a smell in the AC and that I have to have flushed out occasionally (and just purchased a new carbon filter to help), the creaking sound under the car which you fixed by tightening some bolts, the squeaking brakes, and the fact that any time it rains and I have to open the trunk, water pours into the trunk - bad design. I loved my VW Beetle Convertible but I'm afraid with all these little issues early on, things are just going to get worse........You're a great dealership and thanks for all you've done. The work was done well and the cost was reasonable. The personnel is always polite and helpful. Communication is not always easy to achieve when, prior to the service event, there are concerns and questions on my part. I like my cars and want them to be serviced in the best way possible. In the end the service department of VW of Ft. Myers always comes through and maintains my 2015 Golf GTI and 2016 Golf R to my satisfaction.

When I arrived at my scheduled appointment time I was quoted a time when my service would be completed. My car was done 10 minutes before the time quoted. All the work was completed. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

I use this dealership rather than the dealership in my hometown in Illinois. I couldn't get in to the Illinois dealer for my final free oil change and "check up" before the anniversary of purchase. The Illinois dealer tells me how strict VW is and how they can't honor the final freebie, but then a few weeks later I come to Florida and they tell me VW allows some flexibility and honors it. I wont forget that. Whenever possible, I will use the Fort Myers dealer for everything, including future car purchases. Excellent service, professional staff, nice waiting area. I trust this dealership implicitly and highly recommend them.

Our family decided to visit your dealer to purchase a new vehicle for our son and this dealer was our third one after visiting 2 other dealers which we currently have a relationship with. Tony saw us looking around and offered to assist us; which we quickly took the offer. Our son had an idea on what he wanted but with limited finances we weren't sure we would be able to reach our goal. Tony took our family around on a nice used car which our son enjoyed. Tony partnering with John, ran the numbers but they were a little high for our budget. They went back to the drawing board and worked out an amount closer to our needs. Then I noticed a new car in the floor and asked them to run those numbers for a lease; they quickly ran the numbers and we walked out with a 2014 Passat. We thought he was going to kill us for asking to evaluate another car for us; but he was professional and made it happen. We will be returning to Tony in the future. Very valuable employee. Mike listened to my needs and walked me through the car-buying process so I would leave with exactly what I wanted when I left. I'm a teacher and there was no way I was going to let a car issue prevent me from going to work. I came to this dealer to look at lightly used cars. I ended up spending hours there. Saleman Joe, never tried to rush me. Brutally honest man !!! Long story short, after many many options he presented me with an option to my benefit (Not HIS), and I drove home with a 2014 brand new Passat, that I thought would be impossible for me. I was on vacation in the area during X-mas week 2013, when someone hit my rearview mirror and forced it forward. This dealer told me to come right down and they would look at it. I brought the car in, and after about one hour they had repaired it, washed the car, and vacuumed the floors/washed floor mats, and handed me the keys, and I was on my way.

This was the easiest and most pleasant car purchase I have ever had. My sales person Joseph, really saw to it that I was a happy customer. Everything we discussed to make the deal was carried out quickly and easily, none of the 12 trips to the manager stuff. John in finance made the paper work quick and easy, no surprises. I will return to this dealership when I am ready for another vehicle as well as recommend it to my family and friends.

I came in looking for a 2012 Jetta GLI Autobahn with or without the navigation package but to my disappointment they didn't have one at the time so I left. After a few weeks of seriously thinking if the Autobahn upgrades meant that much to me I decided I'd gladly get the GLI plus in Florida weather leather seats just get too hot. So I went back to discuss a price. Since they have this whole upfront pricing thing going on they kept saying that they already negotiated for me but that's not what I wanted. If I'm paying cash for a brand new car I expect a deal. So I left again. I called around found a cheaper price told VW of Fort Myers and they gladly agreed to match what I had found and I drove off the lot in my GLI that day. Steve and Casco are awesome, honestly if you can I would try to talk to Steve (not saying anyone else was bad I just really liked Steve) . Make sure you look around about a price because despite how nice they are it is a car dealership and they want as much money as possible, don't forget that. Also don't rush into anything. They had papers laid out infront of me to sign the second time I visited and still I refused which they were fine with. Awesome place to go very friendly.

April 2011-we wanted to replace our vehicle. We found a used car online, and went to the local dealer it was listed with, however we were told it had been sold. So we drove down the street to turn around to go home, and we saw the Volkswagon dealership, and at the last second, decided to pull in. We walked around looking at the used cars, and found a few that seemed promising. We noticed that a salesman was standing just outside the doors or the showroom, and was just watching us from a distance. When we were ready to speak to someone-we headed towards the showroom, and the salesman met us halfway. He introduced himself, and said that he likes to wait to see if customers want assistance before he approaches them. Two thumbs up for him! Every salesman needs to do this, that way customers won't feel like they are being stalked by vultures. Our salesman was fantastic, as well as the manager. Everyone that assisted us with our purchase did a fantastic job! Very, very happy. Really impressed that they gave us a full tank of gas before we left the dealership! We shared our wonderful experience with LOTS of people! If we had stayed in the area, we would have purchased all of our vehicles from them. Hoping we can find a dealer here in NC that can match the quality of service and vehicles.
